Dark window trim

This is Kim Kardashians Kitchen, where I first saw the idea to mix dark and light and fell in love! LOVE the floors but if I do an espresso island or cabinets the floors will have to be somewhere in the middle, not quite this dark. I don't think many people give window trim much thought but maybe they should? I think this contrast is beautiful and will add interest and sophistication to any space traditional to Mediterranean!
So, I just had to share this. LOVE! This is Kim K's backyard! Can't you just picture having a dinner party them retiring over to have a glass of wine in one of the cozy chairs sitting next to the warm fireplace! I can! We recently had a cement patio poured in the backyard and plan to do a pergola when we do the fence in the spring! We're hoping to get a fireplace (not quite like this fancy one) but need to shop around. We gotten quotes as high as $12,000 for a small outdoor fireplace, YIKES!! I can't wait to finish off the backyard in the spring and kick the summer off with a dinner party with all our favorite people!

This is more accurate of how the cabinets in our house would look as we have 12-13' ceilings! I like once again the combo of dark and light woods! I thought at first I liked Kitchen #1 but I'm really just LOVING this! I think this will fit perfectly in this "home"!

John and Joe's Rm...A Pirates Life For Me!

I love this for the boys room (John and Joe). It's pirate themed without being too "Pirate Themed"!! That way if they get sick of it, out go the pirate items and we'll do more of a nautical theme or it could even be turned into a sports themed room? I plan to use a deeper blue on the wall with white trim and even white beams added to ceiling (ceiling height is 12' up there too)! They'll have 2 seperate beds in their room NOT bunkbeds!

I have much to share on this subject, photo display, but for now I'll share this display I saw on Howdoesshe.com I plan to do a black and white gallery wrap display in John and Joe's room. This would be perfect!

Ava's and Alexa's Room

I'm absolutely in love with this bedding for the girls! It has everything "shabby chic" that I was looking for! It even has the pink stripes that will be on the walls!

The girls are receiving this table/chairs as a Christmas gift! They have a fireplace in their room....Tea Parties next to the fireplace....Precious!!

Our Happy Home

This is our happy little home!

And this is what I WANT our happy little home to look like! Complete with a white picket fence!

I love our home but it needs some major updating inside and out. We've since taken down those ugly bushes in front and some on side! I need to take a new picture! Hoping it will look like the bottom pic when I do! LOL, it'll be awhile!
