Paint Color

We're getting 2 rooms painted next week and so I knew I had to choose a paint color or two! This makes me anxious! I found a list on the internet of the top Benjamin Moore colors by room and was pleasantly surprised that the room color I chose, Monroe Bisque (shown left) was #1 in most rooms! I figure it had to be at least a safe neutral choice, right? We'll soon find out! Look for before/after pics soon :)

I also recently learned that if your looking for say a "blue gray" color you should look at the darkest color on the paint swatch. If it has a blue/green tint don't use any color on swatch, they too will have a green tint. Instead, find another swatch whose darkest color has a gray tint to it. Hope that tip helps a bit. Choosing paint color is tricky!

Some of the colors listed most often were: Monroe Bisque HC-26, Powell Buff HC-35, Saybrook Sage HC-114, Barely Beige 1066, Philadelphia Cream HC-30, Sailor Sea Blue 2063-40, Shaker Beige HC-45. A color not listed anywhere on the list but that I absolutely LOVE is Paris Rain (shown Right)!
